New General Managers for Electrogrup and Direct One
- Adrian Florea takes over the role of Electrogrup General Manager
- Adrian Răcășan adds the role of Direct One General Manager to his current leadership position
Bucharest, January 9, 2019 – E-INFRA (Electrogrup Infrastructure S.A.) today announces that Adrian Florea takes over, starting this week, the role of Electrogrup SA General Manager and, at the same time, Adrian Răcășan also becomes Direct One SA General Manager, while continuing to lead Netcity Telecom SRL. Also, Teodor Băbuț will take the role of Electrogrup SA Deputy General Manager, starting March 1st.

Adrian Florea has a clear vision over the Electrogrup, Direct One and Netcity synergies and is already part of the Group DNA. Adrian Răcășan will provide a unitary Group approach towards the opportunities in the telecom area, which he understands in-depth. Also, Teodor Băbuț returns within Electrogrup and provides a remarkable example of career within the holding,’ Daniel Farmache, E-INFRA CEO starting January 1, 2019, said.
Adrian Florea takes over the new position from his current role of Direct One SA General Manager and member of the Electrogrup SA Board. With a solid career within E-INFRA, Adrian Florea also brings forth a rich experience in technology and telecom companies, with key roles at UTI, Netcity Telecom, Orange România, Vodafone România, Cosmote România, Zapp and Motorola. With a degree in Aerospace Engineering at Universitatea Politehnică in Bucharest, Florea has graduated a MBA from ASEBUSS. Adrian Florea’s new role was previously held by Alina Pop.
The Direct One SA General Manager role is now taken by Adrian Răcășan, who also continues to lead Netcity Telecom SRL. With important roles in developing the Astral and UPC networks, Adrian Răcășan evolved throughout his career in Netcity, where he started as Technical Director. With a degree in Automatic Control and Computer Science at Universitatea Politehnică in Bucharest, Răcășan also holds a MBA from BBS/ CNAM Paris.
Teodor Băbuț, WESEE SRL General Manager over the last three years, will become, starting March 1st, Deputy General Manager of Electrogrup SA. Previous to his current CEO position within WESEE, Teodor Băbuț has led the commercial department of Electrogrup. Băbuț has coordinated the Eastern Europe business of the Downhole branch of National Oilwell Varco Inc. USA, holds a degree from Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai and has graduated the MBA at the University of Hull.
