Alexandra has over 17 years of experience in crossborder M&A. She started her career as a corporate M&A lawyer with Linklaters, specialising in cross-border mid- and large-cap private equity, with a secondary specialisation in international tax. After 7 years in law, she joined Ethemba Capital (a $350m emerging markets focused private equity fund) as an investment manager. In 2010, she accepted an offer to join CMS Cameron McKenna, a leading international law firm, as a partner in the private equity group, where she covered both cross-border private equity-backed M&A and fund structuring/set-up.

Following an MBA degree (London Business School, distinction), she returned to the private equity industry, first as an independent consultant and now with Vaalon Capital.
