Daniel Farmache Takes Over the Role of E-INFRA Group CEO, Starting 2019

Bucharest, December 12, 2018 – E-INFRA (Electrogrup Infrastructure S.A.) today announces thatDaniel Farmache, one of the most reputable managers and financial professionals of the young generation and current group Deputy CEO, will take over the role of CEO of the holding, starting January 1, 2019.

Marian Pantazescu, current CEO and one of E-INFRA’s shareholders, will continue to guide the group strategy as member of the Board.

Daniel Farmache has joined the E-INFRA management team in May, as Deputy CEO, after previously being part of the investment banking division of Citigroup in London, where he worked on the largest IPOs and M&A mandates in Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to this role, Daniel Farmache has worked within the Romanian Citi office for large Romanian capital companies, in capital market transactions and various credit structures. In 2016, Daniel Farmache was a counsellor to the Prime Minister and Chief of Staff within the Labour Ministry.

Daniel Farmache holds a MBA within the London Business School, with a Massachusetts Institute of Technology stage. He is also licensed with First Class Honours in Banking and Finance in the UK – University of Reading, ICMA Centre, and Law, in Bucharest – Nicolae Titulescu University, as well as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certificated.
