Daniel Farmache, CEO of E-INFRA, was present today at the yearly ZF event which brings together the biggest companies in the Romanian economy to discuss about the factors that generated an increase in the company revenues in 2018 and vision & strategies for the future.

One of the company’s strategic projects and probably the most successful PPP at a national level was, in 2018, Netcity:

“Our group owns the Netcity project, so we are in charge with building and operating, with 100% private funds, the underground infrastructure for fiber optics in Bucharest. I dare to say Netcity is the largest ongoing infrastructure project in the capital and we want to accelerate it even more to raise the fiber optics coverage in Bucharest. We reached a length of 1,500 km. The natural rhythm is 400-500 km per year. “

Electrogrup has also accelerated its market share in construction services on all three areas of activity – civil & industrial, energy and telecom, aiming to increase its portfolio in the area of natural gas distribution infrastructure, starting form an increased need to cover the needs of the population nationwide:

“Infrastructure construction companies have disappeared somewhat from Romania. We, on the construction division, have more projects outside the country, a segment that accounts for almost 40% of our turnover. Outside of Bucharest we build  gas infrastructure – mainly local gas networks. Only 29% of localities in Romania have gas networks compared to over 90%, for example in Hungary. “
